KAIZEN is a Japanese word meaning gradual and orderly, continuous improvement. The KAIZEN business strategy involves everyone in an organization working together to make improvements ‘without large capital investments.

By implementing Kaizen, it is focusing on eliminating waste in all systems and the process of an organization. In Kaizen, people continuously improve in their work quality to meet the expectations of high quality, low cost and on time delivery.

Kaizen is composed of 2 elements- Improvement, and continuity in work. Generally it is used to enhance the productivity of any organization. It teaches people how to eliminate waste from their procedures, and where to do cost cutting, and how to do improvement in their work. All these procedures are successful when employee’s participation in the work is the up to the full extent.

Somehow, it also depends on PDCA cycle upto some extent. In the organization, it is really necessary

First to PLAN the things accordingly and systematically.

Secondly DO, i.e start working on the planned things, and strategies

Third, CHECK,i.e testing, to check whether whatever you are planning, it is in congruent to the planning of the organization.

Fourth,ACT i.e implementation, The strategies which you have planned, implement them.

These few strategies help the business to grow and flourish !
